About My Tarot Practice - I have been reading tarot since 2015, when I completed a six month study of the Major Arcana with the Brooklyn Fools (led by Jeff Hinshaw of Cosmic Cousins and Bakara Wintner of Everyday Magic). Since then, tarot has proven to be an essential tool in my own creative practice, and I have found it to bring invaluable guidance, support, and newfound direction to so many others. By combining aspects of astrology with the cards, my goal is to bring all of your personality into the session, locating where struggles might be originating and working with you to strategize ways of working with these challenges. Mostly, I love talking about writing and creativity and I want to see you thriving in the flow of joyous creative work!
"As a writer with a ton of good ideas, I often struggle to pick a direction. Kate's reading helped me reflect on what work would best serve my creative energy...and by extension my readers, and the world! Kate's readings are practical, hopeful, and sympathetic to inner and outer turmoil. I'd recommend a tarot reading for any stage of your writing process, whether you're picking an idea, stuck on a character arc, or frustrated with the publishing process as a whole. Kate's insights offer clarity and hope in a messy, magical world."
- Laura von Holt, Author
"Kate’s reading was a delightful combination of quiet insight and direct observation. She painted pictures for me to fill in and the words and images stayed with me for weeks to come. Even now, the ideas linger as a guiding light for how to proceed and what to prioritize. I recommend having your reading with Kate no matter where you are in your creative process. It will shine a light."
